Our breeding program is focused on the well-being of our dogs and their progeny. We prioritize health, temperament, and structure and because of our adherence to these standards there will be breaks between litters.
We will ship to approved homes outside of Oahu. Hawaii is a rabies free state, therefore shipment to other countries should not require extended quarantine or rabies vaccinations (subject to each country's policy on animal imports). Cost of shipping is not included in the purchase price, but we will provide a transportation quote prior to requesting a deposit.
Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. We will conduct temperament testing and do extensive socialization to ensure that our pups become well adjusted dogs and are a good fit for their new families. Please take your time completing the puppy application and be as specific as possible so we can find the right puppy for you.
All puppies come with their first set of vaccinations, micro-chipped, and are registered through FCPR and UKC. Puppies are not affected by MDR1 and/or DM and come with a limited health guarantee against genetic conditions. Please review parent's health clearances for hip and elbow scores, and for DNA test results.
Hula Moon Berger Blanc Suisse is certified by the Trupanion Breeder Support Program and all puppies come with a free 30-day insurance certificate. The certificate must be activated within 24 hours of bringing home your new puppy.
The AKC does not recognize the Swiss Shepherd as a separate breed from the German Shepherd, despite the two having different breed standards as outlined by the FCI. For this reason, none of our dogs are registered with the AKC, and it is stated in our contract that new owners must agree not to re-register their puppies as AKC German Shepherds color white.
